Get to Know Us

We are Bill and Carrie.   Our love for travel and nature has always been a big part of our lives, and since 2010, we have been enchanted by the beauty and nature that is uniquely Costa Rica.  This inspired the name "The Giggling Gecko," reflecting both our spirit and the vibrant essence of Costa Rica.

In gecko folklore, these little creatures were seen as guardians of the home and bearers of hope and good fortune. Families cherished them as honored guests, believing that the more geckos one had around, the greater abundance of  joy, prosperity, and positive energy.
